THE ROLE

You'll build and run streaming data platforms for European clients — think two million smart meters a day, storm-day peaks included. Boring technology, arranged carefully, at scales where careless arrangements fail loudly.

01Build ingestion and storage for high-volume telemetry platforms, sized from measured load.
02Own data completeness as a reliability metric — dropped readings are incidents, not rounding errors.
03Tier storage by access pattern; defend the infrastructure bill like it's your own money.
04Hand over platforms client teams can operate — documentation and pairing are part of done.
YOU, PROBABLY
—5+ years building data pipelines that run unattended and get audited.
—Production experience with Kafka or comparable streaming infrastructure at real volume.
—Comfortable with time-series storage trade-offs and honest about their costs.
—You've said 'we don't need that component' and been right.
—Working proficiency in English; Portuguese is a bonus, not a requirement.
