THE ROLE

You'll build the unglamorous 90% that makes client AI systems real: pipelines, evaluation harnesses, guardrails, and monitoring. The models are the easy part — you make them trustworthy enough for a bank's risk committee.

01Design and run ML pipelines for client engagements — ingestion to inference to monitoring.
02Build evaluation suites that gate every model change; you decide what 'good enough to ship' means.
03Own inference infrastructure costs and latency budgets across accounts.
04Work directly with client compliance teams to design audit trails for automated decisions.
YOU, PROBABLY
—6+ years in data or ML infrastructure, with systems that survived contact with production.
—You've built evaluation and monitoring for models whose mistakes had consequences.
—Strong in Python and at least one of Kafka, Spark, or a comparable streaming stack.
—Skeptical of demos, insistent on baselines.
—Written communication strong enough to replace a meeting.
